Laws regarding moped-style e-bikes vary significantly from city to city and province to province in Canada. It is the owner's responsibility to verify the legality of their model with local authorities. Please note that we are not responsible for changes in the law affecting our models, nor are we responsible for updating our site right away in the event of such changes. For your convenience, NIU Canada is happy to provide the following information.

Refurbished UQi are either rental models, trade-ins or demonstration models. They all come with a warranty and are fully inspected. They are available in the following four conditions:

Refurbished – As New : Shows only minor signs of wear or scratches. Comes with a 6-month warranty, an odometer reading between 10-300 kilometers, and a battery with 5-10 charge cycles.

Refurbished – Excellent : Shows visible signs of wear or scratches. Comes with a 6-month warranty, an odometer reading between 301-3500 kilometers, and a battery with 11-100 charge cycles.

Refurbished – Good : Shows visible signs of wear or scratches. Comes with a 3-month warranty, an odometer reading between 3501-6500 kilometers and a battery with 101-151 charge cycles.

Refurbished – Fair : Shows visible signs of wear or scratches. Comes with a 30-day warranty, an odometer reading over 6501 kilometers, and a battery over 151 charge cycles.
